The Youth Race Team for high school students furthers their competitive sailing skills through coaching and race participation.
Students must be able to swim 30-40 yards and tread water for 3 minutes without flotation aids. Students must have a Type III flotation jacket for use during class. For comfort, students should have a lightweight wet suit or spray jacket. BYC has a limited number of flotation jackets and wet suits for rent.
The cost of a single-session enrollment is $385 for all courses except for the Teen Cruising Camp which is $400.
Discounts are available for BYC family members, students signing up for multiple sessions, or two or more students from a single family.
The enrollment fee covers instruction, boat usage, and instructional materials.
