Pacific Rim Regatta

Pacific Rim Regatta is a biennial joint venture between the Bellingham Yacht Club and the Sister Cities organization. Every two years, the venue moves to a different one of our six sister cities in the world, for a sailing regatta. Typically each participating city sends 20 or so participants, some as sailors and some as ambassadors, for a one-week homestay visit and regatta.

The 2012 event will see the Bellingham Yacht Club sending 6 sailors and 14 ambassadors to Port Stephens, Australia. In 2014, the PacRim Regatta will once again be in Bellingham, hosted by the BYC and Sister Cities.

Marina Fire

March 30th – It is with great sadness we report the fire on G East in Squalicum Harbor. There is a gathering forming at the Yacht Club, we will be here throughout the evening, our thoughts, and prayers go out to everyone affected.
