Randy has been racing since his high school days and has spent his entire career in the boating industry. His rigging knowledge comes primarily from his years as a sales director at Samson Rope Technologies. He has worked closely with some of the highest level riggers and racers in the world on rope construction and fiber technology. He has made three ocean crossings, raced in 5 offshore ocean races as well as numerous regattas, including the Etchells World Championships. His years of racing (including one dismasting) have shown him what works and doesn’t work in standing and running rigging.
