Lighted Boat Parade will once again be held two nights, both Friday and Saturday the 2nd and 3rd. It is not necessary to participate Friday to be considered for awards.

All vessels are welcome to participate in our annual lighted boat parade. We’ll rendezvous by the Bellingham Cruise Terminal, then make two laps past Taylor Street Dock and Boulevard Park, and the review boat Alaskan Dream. Awards, soup and annual Sink the Dinghy fundraiser immediately following at the BYC Clubhouse.

Schedule of events:

1500 – 1630: Registration and Boat Numbers Pickup
1700: Boats Line Up at East Harbor Basin (Optional)
1730: Boats Away from Squalicum Harbor
1800: Rendezvous at Bellingham Cruise Terminal – Lead Boat:
Steve Ross on Serendipity, 37’ Power, will be the lead boat on Both Nights starting at the Bellingham Cruise Terminal.

Review Boat:

Alaskan Dream, 49’ Grand Banks on the shore side of the NW Explorations dock to the left of the main ramp about halfway down. It’s owned by our new Member Barry Hanson. Joe Coons will be skippering Friday night, On Saturday night, It will be Rich Fitzpatrick, another NWE skipper.

Saturday ONLY at 1930: Lighted Boat awards, Sink the Dinghy Fundraiser, Complimentary soups.
