Luau Days were a huge success because of BYC Members (New Members and Old Salts) who volunteered their time!

We can’t list every Member (there were more than 50) that made BYC Luau Days possible, but we do want to especially acknowledge these volunteers.

Ono Pig Roast – Thank you: Bob Kehoe, Don Lankhaar, Bob Getz, Dwayne Reinke, Tim Mumford, and Ron Erickson for the three days of prepping, cooking, and butchering the Ono Pig and then cleaning up the grills and rotisserie!

Thank you, Done In A Day committee, for always being the cavalry and getting done what needs to get done!

Thank you, Lei Ladies, for making and selling the fresh plumeria leis.

Thank you, Trudy Kelsoe, for shopping, prepping, marinating 100 lbs of chicken and cleaning up on both nights.

Thank you, Rick Steidley, for transforming the Bar into the Tiki Lounge and helping to clean up on both nights.

Thank you, Terry Tavelli, for bartending both nights with BYC’s awesome bartenders: Patrick & Ryan.

Thank you, again, Levey Mamaril for all your help in planning, decorating, and organizing the BYC Luau Days and, again, for sharing your family’s traditional songs and dances with us!
