Presents the (2022 Marmetta Cup - Pursuit Race)

Saturday May 21st 

Marmetta Cup Pursuit Race is the 3rd of 7 BYC's Long Distance Series Racing!

This race consists of a race from Bellingham Bay to Padilla Bay Lighted Bell Buoy-4 and back.

Class Breaks:

There are no class divisions for this pursuit race. There shall be a “reverse start” based on a Time-on-Distance calculation for a course of 22.0 nautical miles. All participants must indicate their intent to race by the end of the day Friday May 20th before the race to give the RC time to calculate the start times.

0900 HRS - Skippers meeting (with coffee and donuts) at the BYC clubhouse

1000 HRS - First Warning

Time limit for all yachts to finish the short or long course shall be 1800 HRS.

Celebrations after the race

Come into the BYC clubhouse for a drink or two and celebrate the day of racing! 

There will also be some food available to warm up too for racer's and race committee.
