Ever wandered what to do if your engine stops with no warning 300 yards from the shore - as happened to a club member last week? Are you wandering if you need to winterize your boat and if so how? Problems with your head (the one in your boat that is). These and many more questions will be answered.
BYC member and professional marine engineer/electrician Andy Neuman will conduct the first of four presentations about different aspects of marine mechanical systems.
This first presentation will be an introductory overview of engines and systems including both Diesel and Gas. While each presentation stands alone you will get the most out of it by attending all four. Subsequent presentations will cover engine maintenance, auxiliary systems (head, fresh water, gens sets, raw water cooling, through hulls, pumps, electrical etc.), finishing with a wrap up presentation tailored to answering your specific questions.
Free to members but PLEASE REGISTER so that we can ensure that we have a suitable space, $5 non-members. Located in the Marina Room.
