Marine Electrical Systems - Where There's a Wire, There is a Way

Our very own club members and marine electrical experts Scott McEniry and Andy Neuman have put together four presentations on marine electronical systems for our members this winter.  These are stanbdalone presentations, no need to attend others if you don't need the information.

If you are thinking about electronic upgrades, whether you are doing it yourself or contracting it out, this information will help your project be successful.

The presentation will start at 7:00pm, on Dec 1st probably in the BYC Ward Room downstairs

Settle in for a highly informative and entertaining presentation from professional marine electonics experts. 

Scott is a life-long sailor and owner of a Pacific Seacraft Orion 27 cutter, he also a club member and past commodore.  Professionaly he has held many jobs in the marine industry and currently the Western Sales manager for the Navico Group (which includes Blue Sea Systems, B&G, C-Map, Lowrance, Marinco, Simrad, Whale and several other very well known brands).  Scott is an ABYC-certified Marine Electrician and Systems Technician and is known in the industry for his depth of technical and hands-on knowledge.

Andy has a Bachelors Degree in Industrial Technology: vehicle design, and a US Marine Corps Master instructor Certificate in communication electronics.  He has taught as an Adjunct professor at the WWU Vehicle institute and worked as an engineer at a number of marine electrical businesses including his own, Twizted Steel Engineworks.
