Approval/Waiver:
The Parent/Guardian of the Student is required to read the "Release of Liability,
Waiver of Right to Sue and Agreement to Indemnify and Hold Harmless" document and to print and sign
a copy of the document and return it to the BYC. The signed copy of the waiver must be received by the BYC
before the student can participate in any class. The waiver can be brought to the If a Parent/Guardian is registering more than one student, a copy
of the waiver must be submitted for each student.
Please select one or more of the course(s) below. Basic and Intermediate
classes and Crusing Camps are Monday through Friday, 9:00 am - 4:00 pm.
Racing Camps are half-day, Monday through Friday, 1:00 pm - 5:00 pm.
Students can repeat Basic and
Intermediate Sailing Classes, or combine Basic and
Intermediate level sailing classes to create a multi-week
learning experience. The Bellingham Yacht Club Youth Sailing
Program is a not-for-profit and self-supported organization.
Dates, times, and cost of classes are subject to change.
New for 2012! This year, Basic courses
have been divided by age group to better facilitate the needs
of the students. Advanced classes (now called "Racing Camps")
are half-day only. We have also added a Crusing Camp for those
students who wish to sail dinghies to various nearby destinations
in the bay.

Bellingham Yacht Club Members receive a $45 discount
per class. However, discounts are not cumulative. You do not qualify for the multiple class discount if recieving your

A Non-refundable registration fee of $50 per class is included.
Due to limited class space, no refunds will be available if a reservation is cancelled less than one week prior to the date of the class.
Payment must be received before space will be reserved. Registration payments must be received by Thursday at 5:00 p.m.of the week prior to the class date in order to reserve space for the following week's class.
